Its a Break During Spring

So, I'm on Spring Break right now, hench the lack of posting because, honestly, i'm not getting dressed!  Ive been in pajamas or gym clothes and have been doing a whole lot of nothing and it is glorious.  I was also sick all last week and am just now getting back to 100%.  BUT there is good news.. hubster has agreed to allow me to find a pair of wedges for the summer even though I promised to quit spending money!  Isn't he the besssst?!  I looked online and found quite a few that I wanted from shoes.com, but I want to check out some stores before I commit to a pair.  Here are the ones that I have my eye on as of now:

Another day, Another Outfit

I wore this to class tonight.  Just something comfortable that I could sit in for 3 hours and listen to a lady talk about regression analysis. 

The Outfit

Shoes:  Target

Leggings:  Forever 21

Ikat print shirt:  Forever 21

Cream vest:  Sharagano Studio (bought from Marshalls)

Turquoise cardigan:  Molli & Mia (bought from Marshalls also)

Even from just having put up three outfits, I realize that a LARGE marjority of my clothes come from Forever 21..... And hubby hubster helps feed my addiction haha.  Thanks honey!

Oh, and I finally got some good quality pictures.. and now my eyes are red!  Cursed camera.. must figure out how to fix this.

Settle in with a Good Book

I love reading.. well.. I love reading when it is something that I want to read. I hate having to read school books or anything related to school. But otherwise, I love reading.
I don't get to read nearly as much as I would like, and I remember seeing something about someone's new year resolution was to read a book a week for the whole year. I wish I had time and patience like that, but I get so sleepy if I read for more than an hour.
Anyway, I thought I'd list some of my favorite books.

1. The whole Harry Potter series by JK Rowling
2. Death: A Life by George Pendle
3. My Horizontal Life by Chelsea Handler
4. Water for Elephants by Sara Gruen
5. The Fablehaven Series by Brandon Mull
6. Percy Jackson and the Olympians Series by Rick Riordan

I recently started on the Leven Thumps Series by Obert Skye. They are pretty enjoyable books and as you can tell by the list above that I really enjoy fantasy books aimed at children.
Currently I am reading The Graveyard Book by Neil Gaiman. It is alright so far, its just a little slow going.

Anyone want to tell me what their favorite books are? I'm always looking for new things to read.

Boogie Down!

The Babies

I took pictures today while I was trying to rush out the door for class and I didn't look at them until now.. and OOOOOOOH goodness they are awful haha.  So because of that, today we will have something different to indulge in. 
Without further ado.. MY CHILDREN!!

Meet Nuzzle, the toy poodle, and Batman, the chihuahua!!!

This is my smallest baby.  His name is Batman and he just turned 2 in February.  He likes to sleep under the covers with his mama, look at people out of the corner or his eye (we call it his crazy eye), and try to eat noses.

This is the meanest, cutest dog ever.  Her name is Nuzzle and she just turned 3 in February.  She likes to crawl under the bed (as pictured above), attack kitties, and beg for treats from her grandma.

This is what I wake up and come home to everyday and I love them to death.  They keep me company while their daddy is gone in Iraq.  The majority of their day is spent either wrestling with each other, sleeping, eating, or harrassing the cats.

Tomorrow I'm going to try to take good pictures.. heres the best one from today just to give you an idea of what I wore.  The others were sooooooo bad haha.

First Outfit!

This is my first attempt at an outfit post.  I was in a rush while taking these and  I'm still trying to figure out how to get the best pictures from my point and shoot camera.  I think they came out pretty decent (some are a little fuzzy) but expect to see better quality as I get accustomed to all of this.  I'm new to the posing thing too, so be nice! haha

I think this one ^^ is my favorite.
